I've never visited Antarctica.

But I've traveled to many far-flung locations and made a large number of still and moving images for myself and others.

And I've made it my life's mission to be as inventive as possible in all of my endeavors.

Without my daughter Mariana, my wife Gabriella ,photography, cinema, music, I'd go nuts on a deserted island.

Storytelling, creative innovation, and visual magic — regardless of medium – make my heart thump thump; and sharing all of this, as well as as much of my experience as I can muster, on the internet makes my soul sing.

I can fine humor in everything.

I've received a slew of accolades for my work, and I'm happy for each and every one of them, but I've always wondered if I deserved them or if the jury was rigged.

I was open and honest long before it was fashionable, and I am a firm believer in cooperation, community, and collaboration.
